A Brief Look at Faith: Christians and Muslims
God
Christian Belief
God is three gods merged into one God. This one God is called a Trinity.
However, to say that God is three is a blasphemy of the highest order. All three parts of
the Trinity are “coequal” “coeternal” and “the same substance.” For this reason, this doctrine is described as “a mystery.”
Muslim Belief
God is one God in the most basic, simple, and elementary meaning of the word. He has no children, no parents nor any equal. In Islam God is known by the name “Allah” and more than 99 other venerated names, such as “the Merciful,” “the Gracious,” “the All-Powerful,” etc.
Jesus
CHRISTIAN BELIEF
The second member of the Triune God, the Son of the first part of the Triune God, and at the same time “fully” God in every respect.
MUSLIM BELIEF
A very elect and highly esteemed messenger of God. No Muslim is a Muslim if he does not believe this.
The Holy Spirit
CHRISTIAN BELIEF
The third member of the Triune God, but also “fully” God in every respect.
Muslim Belief
He is the angel Gabriel. The angel Gabriel is highly esteemed as the “Trustworthy Spirit”
Mary the mother of Jesus
Christian Belief

A chaste and pious human woman who gave birth to Jesus Christ, the second member of the Trinity, the Son of God, and at the same time “fully” God Almighty in every respect.
Muslim Belief
A chaste and pious human woman who was chosen, purified, and preferred over all of the women of creation to be the one to give birth to Gods elect messenger Jesus through the command of God without any father whatsoever.
The Word

Part of God which was “with” God but also “fully” God and then became Jesus the Son of God.
Muslim Belief
God’s command “Be!” which resulted in Jesus’ conception in the womb of Mary without the need for a human father.

Muslim Belief
Muslims believe in the books of the previous prophets including the “Torah” which was sent to Moses, the “Zaboor” (Psalms) which were given to David, the “Injeel” (Gospel) which was given to Jesus, and the Qur’an which was given to Muhammad However, Muslims are told that the previous scriptures were tampered with by mankind and the Bible should only be accepted in as far as it is confirmed by the Qur’an. It is to be treated with respect, however any statements which clearly oppose those of the Qur’an are to be rejected as the work of mankind.
Muhammad
Christian Belief
Varying beliefs. Some believe that he was a liar, some believe he was a lunatic, some believe he was the False Messiah, and yet others claim he was deceived by the Devil.
Muslim Belief
The last messenger of God to all of humanity. He was known as “The Truthful, the Trustworthy” before he received his first revelation. He was sent by God as a mercy to all creation. He was a human being but performed a number of miracles during his lifetime by the will of God.
The Qur’an
Christian Belief
Varying beliefs ranging from it being a copy of the Bible to it being the work of Muhammad (pbuh), to its being the work of Christians and Jews who were conspiring with Muhammad.
Muslim Belief
The last book of God sent to mankind. It was given the distinction of being personally guarded by God from human tampering. It is on a literary level never before seen by mankind. No human to this day has ever been able to meet its challenge to “write a work similar to it.” It shall remain safe from the tampering of mankind till the day of Judgment as a guidance for all Humanity.
Message of Jesus
Christian Belief
That he was sent by God (who was at the same time “fully” Jesus) in order to die on the cross and save all mankind from the sin of Adam. Without this sacrifice all of humanity was destined to perish in the sin of Adam. After the crucifixion all that is required of humanity is faith without any works.
Muslim Belief
That he was sent by God as a messenger to the Jews in order to return them to the pure and true religion of Moses, and to relieve them of some of the regulations which had been placed upon them in ancient times. He taught them to have faith as well as works. Neither one can stand alone.
Jesus’ giving life to the dead, healing the blind and the lepers
Christian Belief
All accepted. He performed them because he was the Son of God and also at the same time “fully” God and the “incarnation” of God.
Muslim Belief
All accepted. They were performed through the will of God just as Moses, Noah, and all other prophets did so in ancient times through the will of God.
The Crucifixion
Christian Belief
Jesus was given over to the Jews. He was spat on, cut, humiliated, kicked, striped, and finally hung up on the cross and killed very slowly and painfully.
Muslim Belief
Jesus was not forsaken to the Jews to be abused and killed, however, it was “made to appear so to them.” God saved Jesus by raising him up unto Himself.
The Second coming of Jesus.
Christian Belief
Accepted. Originally expected to happen during the lifetime of the first disciples, many predictions have been made later and he is still expected at any moment. He is currently anticipated to arrive around the turn of the century (2000 C.E.)
Muslim Belief
Accepted. Jesus did not die but was raised up into heaven by God. He shall return to earth just before the Day of Judgment in order to kill the “False Messiah” and to establish peace and justice on earth. He will kill the pigs, break the cross, and call all humanity to Islam.
The Original Sin
Christian Belief
All of humanity has inherited the sin of Adam. Only the death of the sinless offspring of God could erase this sin. No one is born clean, no matter if his life is only for a single day. Only baptism and faith in the death of Jesus can save one from this destiny.
Muslim Belief
There is no such thing. Humanity is created by God destined for heaven unless they chose to disobey Him and refuse His mercy. God can very trivially and effortlessly forgive the sins of all of Humanity no matter if they were to fill the lofty regions of the sky. Such a matter would be trivial and inconsequential for Him since He has already done much more than that such as creating everything we can ever see, hear or imagine. He loves to bestow His mercy and forgiveness on His creation and rewards the most trivial acts with the most tremendous rewards. In order to achieve God’s reward one must have faith as well as works
The Atonement
Christian Belief
The sin of Adam was so great that God could not forgive it by simply willing it, rather it was necessary to erase it with the blood of a sinless innocent god named Jesus who was also “fully” God.
Muslim Belief
Adam “atoned” for his sin by saying “My Lord I have sinned and if you do not forgive me and have mercy upon me then I shall indeed have lost.” So God forgave him. Similarly, all human beings have the door to forgiveness left open to them by God until the day they die. There are no intermediaries between mankind and God. If they sincerely repent to God, ask His forgiveness, and forsake their evil deeds before their hour comes then He shall forgive them and there is nothing more pleasing to Him than to forgive the sins of one who comes to Him in sincere repentance.
The Path to Salvation
Christian Belief
If you have faith in the atonement of Jesus for the sin of Adam which you have inherited then you shall be saved. You only need faith. No work is necessary.
Muslim Belief
If you have faith in God, believe in His messengers, and obey His commands then He shall multiply every single good deed that you do many, many times and erase your evil deeds, until on the Day of Judgment His mercy shall cause your good deeds to far outweigh your evil deeds and grant you passage into an ecstasy and Paradise so great that we cannot even imagine it, to abide there eternally. In the Hereafter there is only reward and no work.
The God That Never Was by Ahmed Deedat
Prologue
Islaam is the only religion which teaches the existence of a PERFECT God. A perfect God means that there is no sharer in His Nature and His Attributes:
“Say: He is God, the One and Only; God, the Eternal,
Absolute; He begetteth not, nor is He begotten; and there is none like unto Him.” [Qur’aan 112:1-4]
There has appeared a man in Benoni. He is not qualified in theology, but is fondly cherishing the self-delusion that he is an apostle of Christ, appointed by God to convert Muslims to Christianity.
Because he is a lawyer by profession, he is adept at juggling with words and quoting the Holy Qur’aan totally out of context without knowing a word of Arabic. He wants Muslims to believe that Jesus was also a God, a belief that is abhorrent to us, because it is an antithesis of the Absolute perfection of Allaah Subhaanahu Wa Ta ‘Aala! Thus intent upon reversing the process of Truth, which is:
In this he will never succeed because the process of Truth is irreversible.
He has given two reasons to prove that Jesus is God, viz:
1. “When we say Jesus is deity (or even God for that matter), we do not make him the Father! He is one with the Father and therefore HE SHARES HIS NATURE”
and
2. “HE IS IN EVERY WAY LIKE THE FATHER but he is not the Father”.
In short, according to him, Jesus is God because He SHARES THE NATURE OF GOD, and HE IS IN EVERY WAY LIKE GOD. These two reasons given by him to prove the divinity of Jesus are so puerile that they speak volumes of his legal training. Numerous quotations from the Bible are given below to prove that Jesus neither SHARED THE NATURE OF GOD, nor is he IN EVERY WAY LIKE GOD. He can, therefore, NEVER be GOD. We have given the quotations from the Bible without comment, because the Bible speaks for itself! TO SAY
THAT JESUS IS GOD OR SON OF GOD IS NOT ONLY A MOCKERY OF GODHOOD, BUT BLASPHEMY OF THE LOWEST ORDER AND INSULT TO THE INTELLIGENCE OF MEN! (Note: Unless otherwise stated, all quotations from the Bible are given from the Authorized Version. In our headings and subheadings we have referred to Jesus as “God” in inverted commas in order to show the ABSURDITY of the claim of this man that Jesus is God!)
The Birth of ‘GOD’
“God” was created from the seed of David:
“Concerning his Son Jesus Christ our Lord, which was made of the SEED of David according to the flesh.” (Romans, 1:3)

“God” was the fruit of the loins of David:
“Therefore being a prophet, and knowing that God had sworn with an oath to him, that of the fruit of his loins, according to the flesh, he would raise up Christ to sit on his throne.” (Acts, 2:30)
The Ancestors of “GOD” :
“The generations of Jesus Christ, the son of David, the son of Abraham.” (Matthew, 1:1)
The Sex of “God”:
“And when eight days were accomplished for the circumcising of the child, his name was called Jesus.” (Luke, 2:21)
How Mary conceived and Delivered “God”:
Mary conceived Jesus like any other woman:
“The days were accomplished that she should be delivered,” (Luke, 2:6) which means that she went through all the normal stages of pregnancy.
Nor was her delivery any different from other expectant mothers:
“And she being with child cried, travelling in birth, and pained to be delivered.” (Revelation, 12:2)
“GOD” Sucked The Paps of a Woman:
“And it came to pass, as he spake these things, a certain woman of the company lifted up her voice, and said unto him, Blessed is the womb that bare thee, and the paps which thou hast sucked.” (Luke, 11:27)
The country of origin of “GOD”:
“Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judaea in the days of Herod the king. (Matthew, 2:1)
The occupation of “God”:
“Jesus was a carpenter by trade.” (Mark, 6:3), “and the son of a carpenter.” (Matthew, 13:55)
the transport of “GOD”:
“Behold, thy king cometh unto thee, meek, and sitting upon an ass.” (Matthew, 21:5)
“And Jesus, when he had found a young ass, sat thereon.” (John,12:14)
the wining and dining of “GOD”:
“The Son of man came eating and drinking, and they say, behold a man gluttonous, and a winebibber, a friend of publicans and sinners.” (Matthew, 11:9; Luke, 7:34)
the poverty of “GOD”:
“And Jesus saith unto him, the foxes have holes, and the birds of the air have nests; but the Son of man hath not where to lay his head.” (Matthew, 8:20)
the meager possessions of “GOD”:
“Shoes of Jesus” (Luke, 3:16)
“Garments and coat of Jesus” (John, 19:23)
“GOD” was a devout jew:
“And in the morning, rising up a great while before day, he went out, and departed into a solitary place, and there prayed.” (Mark, 1:35)
“GOD” was a loyal subject :
Jesus was a good citizen, he was loyal to Caesar. He said:
“Render therefore unto Caesar the things which are Caesar’s; and unto God the things that are God’s.” (Matthew, 22:21) He paid his tax regularly. (Matthew, 17:24-27)
the family of “GOD”:
“God” Was the Son of Joseph:
“Philip findeth Nathanael, and saith unto him, we have found him, of whom Moses in the law, and the prophets, did write, Jesus of Nazareth, the son of Joseph” (John, 1:45)
brothers and brothers-in-laws of “GOD”:
“And when he was come into his own country, he taught them in their synagogue, insomuch that they were astonished, and said, whence hath this man this wisdom, and these mighty works? Is not this the carpenter’s son? Is not his mother called Mary? and his brethren, James, and Joses, and Simon, and Judas? And his sisters, are they not all with us? Whence hath this man all these things? (Matthew, 13:54-56)
the development of “GOD”:
Spiritual Development of “God”:
“And the child grew, and waxed strong in spirit, filled with wisdom.” (Luke, 2:40)
mental, physical and moral development of “GOD”:
“And Jesus increased in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and man.” (Luke, 2:52)
“God” Was 12 Years Old When His Parents Took Him to Jerusalem:
“Now his parents went to Jerusalem every year at the feast of the passover. And when he was twelve years old, they went up to Jerusalem after the custom of the feast.” (Luke, 2:41-42)
The powerless “GOD” (jesus) said:
“I can of mine own self do nothing.” (John, 5:30)
“GOD” WAS IGNORANT OF THE TIME:
Jesus said: “But of that day and that hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels which are in heaven, neither the Son, but the Father.” (Mark, 13:32)
“GOD” WAS IGNORANT OF THE SEASON :
“And on the morrow, when they were come from Bethany, he (Jesus) was hungry: and seeing a fig tree afar off having leaves, he came, if haply he might find anything thereon: and when he came to it, he found nothing but leaves; for the time of figs was not yet.” (Mark, 11:12-13)
“GOD” WAS UNLETTERED:
“Now about the midst of the feast Jesus went up into the temple, and taught. And the Jews marvelled, saying, How knoweth this man letters, having never learned?” (John, 7:14-15)
“GOD” Learnt through experience:
“Learned he obedience by the things which he suffered.” (Hebrews, 5:8)
the tempting of “GOD”:
The Devil Tempted “God” For 40 Days:
“And immediately the spirit driveth him into the wilderness. And he was there in the wilderness forty days, tempted of Satan.” (Mark, 1:12-13)
the devil tempted “GOD” continuously :
“And when the devil had ended all the temptation, he departed from him for a season.” (Luke, 4:13)
like the sinners, “GOD” was tempted in all things:
“But (he) was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin.” (Hebrews, 4:15)
the GOD cannot be tempted with evil:
“God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempteth he any man.” (James, 1:13)
only the ungodly are tempted with evil:
“But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed.” (James, 1:14)
the mission of “GOD”:
The Confession and Repentance of “God”:
Before the beginning of his public ministry: “Jesus was baptized by John the Baptist” (Matthew, 3:13)
“which signified the confession of sins” (Matthew, 3:6)
“and repentance from sins”(Matthew, 3:11).
“GOD” did not come to save the sinners :
“And when he was alone, they that were about him with the twelve asked of him the parable. And he said unto them, unto you it is given to know the mystery of the kingdom of God: but unto them that without, all these things are done in parables: That seeing they may see, and not perceive; and hearing they may hear, and not understand; lest at any time they should be converted, and their sins should be forgiven them.” (Mark, 4:10-12)
the racial “GOD”:
“God” Was a Tribal Jew: “The lion of the tribe of Juda.” (Revelation, 5:5)
“GOD” came for the jews only :
“But he answered and said, I am not sent but unto the lost sheep of the house of Israel.” (Matthew, 15:24)
racial discrimination of “GOD”:
“These twelve Jesus sent forth, and commanded them, saying, Go not into the way of the Gentiles, and into any city of the Samaritans enter ye not: But go rather to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.” (Matthew, 10:5-6)
according to “GOD”, the gentiles are dogs :
“It is not meet to take the children’s bread, and to cast it to dogs.” (Matthew, 15:26)
the kingdom of “GOD”:
And he (Jesus) shall reign over THE HOUSE OF JACOB for ever; and of his kingdom there shall be no end.” (Luke, 1:33)
the titles of “GOD”:
“The king of the Jews” (Matthew, 2:2)
“The king of Israel” (John, 1:49; 12:13)
a “GOD” unlike the god:
A Hungry “God”: “And when he had fasted forty days and forty nights, he was afterward an hungered.” (Matthew 4:2)
“Now in the morning as he returned into the city, he hungered.” (Matthew, 21:18)
“and on the morrow, when they were come from Bethany, he was hungry.” (Mark, 11:12)
a thirsty “GOD”:
“(He) saith, I thirst.” (John, 19:28)
a sleepy “GOD”:
“He was asleep.” (Matthew, 8:24)

A Weary “God”:

A Groaning “God”:

“Jesus therefore again groaning in himself cometh to the grave.” (John, 11:38)
A Weeping “God”:
“Jesus wept.” (John, 11:35)
A Sorrowing “God”:
“And (he) began to be sorrowful and very heavy.” (Matthew 26:37)
“Then saith he unto them, my soul is exceeding sorrowful, even unto death.” (Matthew, 26:38)
A Hysterical “God”:
“And (he) began to be sore amazed and to be very heavy.” (Mark, 14:33)
A Weak “God”:
“And there appeared an angel unto him from heaven, strengthening him.” (Luke, 22:43)
The Warring ‘GOD’ :
The Strong-Arm Method of “God”:
“And he went into the temple, and began to cast out them that sold therein, and them that bought.” (Luke, 19:45)
“And the Jews’ passover was at hand, and Jesus went up to Jerusalem, and found in the temple those that sold oxen and sheep and doves, and the changers of money sitting: and when he had made a scourge of small cords, he drove them all out of the temple, and the sheep, and the oxen; and poured out the changers’ money, and overthrew the tables.” (John, 2:13-15)
The “God” of War:
Jesus said: “Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.” (Matthew, 10:34)
The Sabre-Rattling “God”:
Jesus said: “And he that hath no sword, let him sell his garment, and buy one.” (Luke, 22:36)
The ‘GOD’ On The Run:
“God” Was Panic-Stricken:
“After these things Jesus walked in Galilee: for he would not walk in Jewry, because the Jews sought to kill him.” (John, 7:1)
“God” Walked in Fear of the Jews:
“Then from that day forth they took counsel together for to put him to death. Jesus therefore walked no more openly among the Jews.” (John, 11:53-54)
“God” Has Shown a Clean Pair of Heels:
“Therefore they sought again to take him: but he escaped out of their hand.” (John, 10:39)
“God” Fled in Disguise:
“Then took they up stones to cast at him: but Jesus hid himself, and went out of the temple, going through the midst of them, and so passed by.” (John, 8:59)
The Capture Of ‘GOD’:
A Friend Betrayed the Secret Hiding Place of “God”:
“And Judas also, which betrayed him, knew the place: for Jesus off-times resorted thither with his disciples. Judas then, having received a band of man and officers from the chief priests and Pharisees, cometh thither with lanterns and torches and weapons.” (John, 18:2-3)
“God” Was Arrested, Bound and Led Away:
“Then the band and the captain and officers of the Jews took Jesus, and bound him, and led him away.” (John, 18:12-13)
“God” Was Humiliated:
“And the men that held Jesus mocked him, and smote him. And when they struck him on the face.” (Luke, 22:63-64)
“Then did they spit in his face, and buffeted him; and others smote him with the palms of their hands.” (Matthew, 26:67)
“God” Was Defenseless:
“One of the officers which stood by struck Jesus with the palm of his hand”, he said: “Why smitest thou me?” (John, 18:22-23)
“God” Was Condemned to Death:
“And they all condemned him to be guilty of death.” (Mark, 14:64)
“They answered and said, he is guilty of death.” (Matthew, 26:66)
The Dumb and Docile “God”:
“He was led as a sheep to the slaughter; and like a lamb dumb before his shearer, so opened he not his mouth.” (Acts, 8:32)
The Supposed End Of ‘GOD’
The Dying “God”:
“And Jesus cried with a loud voice, and gave up the ghost.” (Mark, 15:37)
The “God” That Was Supposed Dead and Defunct:
“Christ died.” (Romans, 5:6)
“He was dead”. (John, 19:33)
The Supposed Corpse of “God”:
“he (Joseph of Arimathaea) went to Pilate, and begged the body of Jesus. Then Pilate commanded the body to be delivered.” (Matthew, 27:58)
The Shroud of “God”:
“And when Joseph had taken the body, he wrapped it in a clean linen cloth.” (Matthew, 27:59)
The Obituary of The Late And Lamented “God”:
“Now when the centurion saw what was done, he glorified God, saying, certainly this was a righteous man.” (Luke, 23:47)
Epilogue
According to this self-appointed apostle of Christ, Jesus is God because:
1. “HE SHARED THE NATURE OF GOD”,
and
2. because “IN EVERY WAY HE IS LIKE GOD”.
But according to the quotations of the Bible given above, we find that Jesus did neither SHARE THE NATURE OF GOD nor is he IN EVERY WAY LIKE GOD. He is, therefore, definitely NOT God! The onus to prove that Jesus is God now rests with this Christian. Either he must prove that Jesus is God, or he must admit that he is a polytheist, i.e., a believer in more than one God. WITH ALL THE TRICKS AND VERBAL LEGERDEMAIN OF HIS PROFESSION, HE WILL NEVER BE ABLE TO PROVE THAT JESUS IS GOD!!
He and his fellow-preachers in Christ, will never succeed in convincing the Muslims that Jesus was anything other than a natural man and a prophet of God, sent unto the house of Israel to bear the good news of the coming of the KINGDOM OF GOD, which prophecy was fulfilled with the advent of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (Sallallaahu Alayhi Wa Sallam)!

Prologue
In the past, when so many attacks were launched against Islam under an open and unabashed crusader flag, various popes used to encourage some fanatics to write booklets containing lies against Islam and against the Prophet of Islam, distorting his message and reviling his religion.
After the church withdrew from this activity, the number of these attacks was obviously reduced.
Yet they did not stop altogether. They took another form under a different banner, the pretext of freedom of expression. Only the approach has changed.
An apostate and heretic called Salman Rushdi wrote a book in which he reviled Islam, describing verses of the Quran as satanic and revealed by the Devil. He abused the Prophet of Islam, his companions and his wives, describing the latter as adulteresses.
Britain, defender of freedom rushed headlong to support and defend this man using as a pretext, the necessity of freedom of expression, which is in this case, the freedom of revile and curse.
Even in the west no one has a right to shout fire in a crowded hall and escape the punishment for causing a possibly fatal panic.
Yet one month before the publication of Rushdi’s book, the partisans of free speech violated freedom of expression when they banned the book, SPY CATCHER by Peter Wright. This inconsistency makes it clear that their freedom is to do as they desire, not as people of other religions earnestly request.
And I wonder if we were to complain to the British Judges against a person who falsely accused me of being adulterer, what then their judgment will be?!! Would they defend him and justify his right to slander?
And if not, why do they use a deviant standard of justice concerning Rushdi’s book which reviled those who are more beloved to us than our fathers, sisters, wives and daughters?
It seems to me that perhaps the one or two centuries of peaceful coexistence has not made British neo-crusaders forger their ancient hatred of Islam.
The book of Salman Rushdi reviled many more beside Islam and the Prophet.
· On (page 461), he states, “nigger eats white man’s [shit]”.
· On (page 529), he mocked the black brethren by saying “black shit is bad”.

Tell me now: who do you think inspired Salman Rushdi to use these despicable and mean words but Satan ? It is the same Satan who inspired him to revile the book of the most merciful one, and describing parts of it as Satanic verses.
Isn’t amazing that despite all of these mean and shameful words in his book, he receives a literary award today as the best among the play stage among writers and novelists as it was recently announced in the B.B.C broadcasting.
My argument is not really against a man who is happy being used by the Devil. He and his low words are so mean that they are not worthy of rebuttal. Those who deserve countering are those who supported him, hid him and used his book including the devil
himself.

If the author of the book is really sincere enough, and if he had logically concluded in his research or analyses that the Quran was not valid, that therefore it might have been revealed by Satan, we would then have appreciated the value of freedom of concepts in the sight of the British who sacrificed much to keep their promise to protect freedom.
But when they protect such a base and vulgar person whose manner of expression is as low and mean as he is, then I would say that makes it a mockery of freedom. It is another misuse of the slogan freedom, with a profound awareness that this is not the only time that the word,
“FREEDOM”, has been abused.
By this book, I intend to put their freedom to a test. Will they protect me and my book, allow its publication and distribution, or will they try to ban it.
I have not, however, used here the same method or approach as Salman Rushdi did. Instead, I have quoted verses of the Bible providing complete references. This is the method employed by no less a scripture than the Holy Quran, itself:
The Bible itself testifies that this method is fair and just enough, We find that in Luke: “By your own mouth I condemn you”. [19:22] And in Mathew:
“Judge not, that you be not judged, for with what judgement you judge, you shall be judged: and with what measure you mete, it shall be measured to you again. Why behold you see the mote that is in your brother’s eye, but consider not the beam that is in your own eye?” [7:1]
This booklet is a brief of my big research about the Bible after I have passed through all of it and collected its verses in the same method that you see in this book, which makes it much beneficial for those who are interested in more investigations about the bible. I hope I will be able to translate it as soon as possible.
Before I close my preface, I would remind the reader that we Muslims have an advantage over Christianity, namely that we bear witness that we believe in the books revealed to both MOSES and JESUS, the prophets of the Jews, except for those Biblical
accretions written by the hand of man, That the are accretions, my book is going to prove to you by their collection in one place.
It is not meant as an insult to the Bible, because I select verses and leave them as they are, without interfering comment beside the text, except for some essential and important explanations as the foot-notes.
It rather intend to defend my God, because my God and yours does not speak in the way that you will see in this booklet. A final purpose of this book is to assist you in distinguishing God’s verses from satanic verses.
As to other Christians who protested against Salman’s book I extend my gratefullness and apology, wishing that they appreciate the reaction of one whom his book was unjustly abused.
While reading my pages, I would suggest that you read it intellectually, I appeal to you that you be yourself a fair judge for this case, and that you be on the side of none but the truth.

Woman’s veil in the bible (not only in Islam)

But if it is disgraceful for a woman to be shorn or shaven, let her wear a veil. JUDGE FOR YOURSELVES; is it proper for a woman to pray to God with her head uncovered?
(It seems that Christians are unaware of the obligation of the veil in the Bible, which made me put their verses in this book, and for those who attack the veil in Islam should notice these verses of their own Bible, and notice also this verse “Judge not, that you be not judged. For with the judgment you pronounce you will be judged, and the measure you give will be the measure you get.)

[1 Corin. 11:7] For a man ought not to cover his head, since he is the image and glory of God, but woman is the glory of man, for man was not made for woman, but woman from man, neither was man created for woman, but woman for man.

Why did Luke write his gospel ?

GOOD TO ME also, having had perfect understanding of all things from the very first to write unto you in order, MOST EXCELLENT THE-OPH’-I-LUS, (the church tried to know : who is that The-oph’-i-lus, Luke’s close friend. However, there are some Christians today claim
that this is not a name of a person, but a Greek word which means “People”.
- I do not understand why the whole Bible was translated into English except for this word!

- And they start this “so called” Greek word with a capital letter ?
- And who was “most excellent” to Luke ? The people or his friend: The-oph’-i-lus ?
This is how they defend the error by making another error, it is in fact another trick, by this they attempt to avoid the difficulties which this paragraph creates. The fact that this introduction of Luke’s Gospel makes his Gospel no more than a personal letter.) that you MIGHT KNOW THE CERTAINTY of those things wherein you have been instructed. (This paragraph indicates three essential points:
- Luke was not an eyewitness to Jesus peace be with him.
- He did not claim that he was inspired, but it seemed good idea to him to write his book.

A Woman charged in adultry without witness biblical or Quranic solution ?
Quran: And for those who launch a charge against their spouses, and have (in support) no evidence but their own – Their solitary evidence (can be received) if one of them bear witness four times (with an oath) by Allah that he is solemnly telling the truth; And the fifth (oath) (should be) that may the curse of Allah be on himself if he is telling a lie. But it would avert the punishment (in life from being stoned) from her, if she bears witness four times (with an oath) by Allah, that he is telling a lie.
And the fifth (oath) should be that may wrath (the wrath is more serious than the curse) of Allah be on herself if he is telling the truth. (After that the judge will get them sepparated and if conceive and bear a child he will follow the name of his mother’s family).[24:6-9]

Bible: And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying, speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, if any man’s wife go aside, and commit a trespass against him, and a man lie with her carnally, and it be hid from the eyes of her husband, and kept close, and she be defiled, and there be no witness against her, neither she be taken with the manner; and the spirit of jealousy come upon him, and he be jealous of his wife, and she be not defiled; then shall the man bring his wife unto the priest, and he shall her offering for her the tenth part of an e’- phah of barely meal, he shall pour no oil upon it, nor put frankincense thereon for it is an offering of jealousy, an offering for memorial, bringing iniquity to remembrance. And the priest shall bring her near, and set her before the Lord; And the priest shall take holy water in an earthen vessel; and of the dust that is in the floor of the tabernacle the priest shall take, and put it into the water; And the priest shall set the woman before the Lord, and uncovers the woman’s head, and put the offering of the memorial in her hands, which is the jealousy offering; and the priest shall have in his hand the bitter water that causes the curse;
And the priest shall charge her by an oath, and say unto the woman, info man has lain with you, and if you have not gone aside to uncleanness with another instead of your husband, and you free from this bitter water that causes the curse. But if you have gone aside to another instead of your husband, and if you be defiled, and some man have lain with you beside your husband; Then the priest shall charge the woman with an oath of cursing, and the priest shall say unto the woman, The Lord make you a curse and an oath among your people, when the Lord does make your thigh to rot, and your belly to swell; And this water that causes the curse shall go into your bowels, to make your belly to swell, and your thigh to rot; and the woman shall say: A’men, a’-men. And the priest shall write these curses in a book, and he shall blot them out with the bitter water; And he shall cause the woman to drink the bitter water that causes the curse; and the water that causes the curse; shall enter into her, and become bitter. Then the priest shall take the
jealousy offering out of the woman’s hand, and shall wave the offering before the Lord, and offer it upon the altar. And the priest shall take an handful of the offering, even the memorial thereof, and burn it upon the altar, and afterward shall cause the woman to drink the water. And he has made her to drink the water, then it shall come to pass, that if she be defiled, and have done trespass against her husband, that the water that causes the curse shall enter into her, and become bitter, and her belly shall swell, and her thigh shall rot: and the woman shall be a curse among her people. And if the woman be not defiled, but be clean; then she shall be free, and shall conceive seed. (Num. 5:13-28)
